Who is Cristina Darie?

A little story about me.

I remember that as a child I used to bake dough objects in the oven, paint them and then…sell them for a fair price to my playmates. Following my passion, I got a book that taught me how to make all kinds of original objects out of many different materials.

As time passed, I decided to transform my childhood passion into something real. In my last two years of high school I decided to apply to the University of Arts and to specialize in Industrial Design.

What attracts me most?

I can work with raw materials, that in their basic, pure form I can melt my own colors and design textures, binding them all in a final design object.

What inspires me?

I get inspiration from the world around me, because I see it in different textures and colors and I can start from the basic reality (a sunny day, the color of the sky), then go further using my imagination. But my boundless source of creativity is a simple piece of wood. Actually, a funny painted piece of wood.
